This page documents the complete guided setup from Welcome through Provisioning and the final Success page.

Documentation only: this page does not perform installation, Firebase provisioning, Google authorization, or account creation. Run the PROtek Installer to perform the actual setup.

Welcome

Start your PROtek Preschool setup.

What this page explains

  • Typical setup time: about 15–30 minutes.
  • No Firebase CLI or environment-file work is expected from the school owner.
  • The Installer guides the school step by step.

Before you begin

  • Have access to the Google account that will own or manage the school setup.
  • Have the PROtek license information available.
  • Have basic school and administrator information ready.

Google Sign-In

Connect with your Google account.

Purpose

Sign in with Google so PROtek can identify the school owner and securely prepare the school environment.

Installer checks

  • Google account connection.
  • Deployment authorization.
  • Authorization refresh when required.

License

Confirm your PROtek Preschool license.

What you do

  • Enter the license key from the purchase email.
  • Accept the applicable agreement.
  • Activate and verify the license.

What PROtek verifies

  • Activation status and expiration.
  • Subscription / renewal state.
  • License binding and saved activation.

School Backend

Choose the intended School Backend.

Choose one

  • Create a new School Backend for a new preschool deployment.
  • Use an existing School Backend when the intended project already exists and is accessible.

Verification

  • Signed-in Google account.
  • PROtek license.
  • School name and School Cloud Project ID.
  • Selected backend ownership/access and Firebase configuration.

School Profile

Tell us about your preschool.

Profile information

  • School Name — required.
  • Business Type.
  • School Email.
  • Optional profile settings can be completed now or updated later in PROtek.

School Year

Set your school calendar.

Calendar information

  • Calendar Type.
  • School Year Name.
  • First Day of School.
  • Last Day of School.
  • Holiday Calendar.

The school-year name and first/last dates are required before deployment.

School Hours

Set operating hours.

Quick setup

Start with a common schedule preset and adjust it as needed.

Operating hours

  • Opening time.
  • Closing time.
  • Operating days.

These values help prepare attendance, scheduling, billing, and calendar defaults.

Classrooms

Create your classrooms.

For each classroom

  • Classroom Name.
  • Age Group.
  • Capacity.
  • Classroom Color.
  • Optional Notes.

Create one classroom for each group you want to manage separately. These values can be updated later.

Administrator

Create the first administrator.

Administrator account

  • First Name and Last Name.
  • Administrator Email.
  • Phone Number.
  • Password and Confirm Password.

Use the owner, director, or trusted administrator who should receive full PROtek access after deployment.

Import Optional

Choose how to start your data.

Current setup

The current release supports a clean-school deployment. Additional migration/import tools may be identified as planned or unavailable. You can also choose to be reminded about import tools after installation.

Review

Review your setup before deployment.

School Setup Summary

  • Review required information.
  • Review optional information.
  • Review recommended settings PROtek will apply automatically.

Readiness

The Installer shows whether the school is ready to build. Required items must be complete before provisioning can start.

PROtek performs the technical setup automatically. The live progress page reports each major provisioning operation.

Safety and diagnostics

  • Storage verification and cleanup confirmation.

Web deployment

The Installer prepares both PROtek web experiences and releases them to Firebase Hosting using the verified school runtime configuration.

Web addresses

The completed Installer displays clickable URLs for both deployed sites:

PROtek Web App — Admin • Teacher • ParentPROtek Parent Web App — Teacher • Parent

The exact URLs are created for the school during provisioning.

Final actions

  • Install PROtek Apps.
  • Download Installation Report.
  • Open the deployed web URLs.
